China Shipping Container Lines (CSCL) is looking to place an order for five 18,000 teu vessels (known as triple- E) to add to its current fleet.
CSCL will be the second carrier to order such large vessels, behind Maersk Line who are taking delivery of their first triple-E ships in June.
It is expected that each vessel will cost around USD 140 million, and are likely to be built in South Korea.
